Today, the girls debuted as show kitttens at the Abyssinian Cat Club of Australasia Show. They were entered as a litter and were awarded Best Litter in every ring. Then, little Rumpelteazer went on to be Best Baby Kitten and 7th kitten in Ring 3 out of 28 kittens. Also, the litter was awarded the Judge's Choice Award in Ring 2.

The kittens are going through a crazy game playing stage and are nigh impossible to photograph potrait style! The easiest way to photograph them is to dangle feathers in front of their face or wait until they are eating or sleeping.

The kittens are full of energy and are able to scale the tall scratching post with ease. They have been racing around, in and out of the tunnel and playing various chasing and stalking games with each other.

Djem's gorgeous girls have been registered with the NSW CFA. Their names are inspired by T.S.Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats and the musical stage show 'Cats' that was based around the poems. We have a female Rum Tum Tugger, Glamour Cat, Rumpelteazer and Pouncival.

The kittens have moved house again; this time the pink cube bed is the place of choice.

The girls are just over 3 weeks old and have taken over their room. Djemila moved them out of their kittening bed a few days ago and there has been no stopping them; they are even trying to climb the scratching post.
