Swift Poppy was born on the ANZAC holiday, the 26th April in 2011. She is a blue Abyssinian with plenty of character and is a Grand Champion.
Poppy’s father is Junior and her mother is Champion Swift Brontee. She has many of her father's qualities including a resilient coat and a long, muscular body.
Poppy's parents are both normal for PK-deficiency and PRA and therefore she will be normal as well.
In 2011, apart from her first show as a little kitten Poppy has always managed to receive a Best Group 3 Female Kitten award which is impressive for a blue Abyssinian kitten.
In the 2011 NSW CFA Cat of the Year awards she was 3rd Best Gp 3 Female Kitten.
In August 2012, Poppy became a mother to kittens sired by Sunny (Glenmaulyn Diamond Gypson).
For 2012, Poppy won the Abyssinian Breeder Best Blue Abyssinian Cat Award.
On the 16th of January 2013, Poppy and Sammy became parents to 4 kittens, including Soda Pop who has taken over from her mother as a breeding queen.
Poppy was retired in June 2013 and is living happily in Canberra with Bree's brother, Right As Rain, now known as Miskar.
